Dorothea Fumpuni John is an Assistant Lecturer in Educational Foundations and Management Unit. Ms. Fumpuni has completed her first degree (BA. Ed.) and master degree (MAED) at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2004 and 2008 respectively. She is currently a Ph.D candidate at the University of Dar es Salaam. Before her employment at DUCE in March 2008, Ms Fumpuni worked with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training as a secondary school teacher from 1998 to 2008. Ms. Fumpuni has been a member of teaching practice for two years from 2008 to 2010. In 2014/15 she has been an Acting Gender Coordinator in the College. Since 2015 to date, she is the Faculty of Education Coordinator for Research and Publication. Ms.Fumpuni teaches Educational Foundations courses such as Principles of education, Sociology of education, History of education and Philosophy of Education at undergraduate level.
