Blandina Mazzuki is a lecturer of education at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), Faculty of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Curricullum Studies, Master of Arts (Education) and Bachelor of Education (Arts) from the University of Dar es Salaam. Before she graduated her first degree, she attained a Diploma in Education at Marangu Teachers' College and taught in secondary schools for 8 years. In 2006, she joined DUCE where she is teaching pedagogy of teacher education, introduction to teaching and classroom interaction and research courses. Mazzuki as a teacher educator focuses on researches which are geared towards improving the quality of learning of student teachers in order to produce quality teachers for effectiveness of education system in Tanzania. Her scholarship advocates for teacher educators' positive modelling of student teachers to achieve skills and positive attitudes towards teaching profession which is a challenge for achieving quality education inTanzania.
